Datuk M Noor Azman Taib is a government official who has vast experience centred on policy formulation and implementation pertaining to urban community development. He currently holds the position of Deputy Secretary-General (Development) of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia, who extensively involves in the capacity building of Malaysian youth and Malaysia sports development.
Having served the government for more than 20 years, he has been attached to various ministries including the Ministry of Federal Territory where he had a long tenure whilst chartered his remarkable contribution in the development of prominent cities in Malaysia namely Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya (the Federal Government Administrative Centre) and Labuan Island. He dealt with inter alia, urban planning and urban development issues with the aim to improve the people's socioeconomic status amidst numerous urbanization challenges.
The materialization of the "Federal Territory Residency" campaign - a sustainable housing program that enables young people in the city to own house with financial assistance by the government, was among his notable contributions towards improving the standard of living of the city folks.
