SDG 11 Ambassador in Russia. She is the leader of the green movement "MGIMO GOES GREEN" and a coordinator of SDSN at MGIMO. Becoming a researcher of the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Science, she studies the dynamics of the glaciers of the South Patagonia field as a response to global climatic changes, based on space images of the ISS.
Ekaterina examined the environmental problems of Lake Victoria as a threat to the sustainable development of the states of the Lake Victoria basin. Ekaterina was a scholar of the International Week of Young Scientists in Paris.
She is one of the writers of the AR educational products ‘Ecocity’ & ‘Ecopolis’. Together with the accelerator for Smart and Sustainable Cities "Evercity, she helps young entrepreneurs to develop their projects in cities. Ekaterina established the Cup of Ecological Cases ‘ECO Solution Cup’. During 6 years she participates as a mentor and an expert at the International Youth forums ‘Baikal’ & ‘Eurasia Global’, ‘Moscow Urban Climate Forum’, ‘The Environmental Projects and Cities Sustainable Development’ and etc.
She is a laureate of the National Ecological Prize named after V.I. Vernadsky and the Prize of the Government of Moscow in the field of environmental protection.
