Hannah Tsadik is the director of global policy at the Life & Peace Institute (LPI) based in Nairobi, Kenya. She leads global advocacy to develop and test new models for making international peace policies less remote to, and more influenced by the everyday lives of those living in conflict-affected areas including young people. Her experience spans three continents and several sectors including the private sector and academia.
In the past decade, Ms. Tsadik launched the Institute’s current peacebuilding work in Ethiopia and established the regional office for the Horn of Africa in Addis Ababa which partners closely with the African Union and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development.
She calls many places home (including two on the African continent), speaks several languages.
Ms. Tsadik holds a BA degree in political science from North Park University, USA and a MA in peace and conflict studies from Uppsala University, Sweden.
