Kobi Skolnick is most passionate about young people, and supporting transformational change agents to realize their vision for themselves, their organization, and our world. He is the founder of Lead for Impact, a co-founder of Co-Plan It, a founding staff member of the Columbia University Youth, Peace and Security program, a member of the UN YPS Global Coalition, and a facilitator, trainer, and educator, currently serving as a lecturer in Columbia’s Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Program, and working closely with UNICEF to increase leadership capacity through a new Humanitarian Leadership Workshop for leaders in emergency settings.
Skolnick is committed to advocacy for social change, peacebuilding, cultural empathy, negotiation and conflict resolution as pathways for making transformational change a reality. He believes that combining education with skill-based practice empowers people to turn their beliefs into behaviors, and their goals into reality. Skolnick has trained thousands of people worldwide, creating and implementing organizational capacity programs that sustain meaningful change for individuals, teams, and movements.
