Ms. Fatima Abdelrahman is the first female head of native administration (OMDA) in Sudan, she has a leading role in management of land issues in South Darfur, Nyala. Ms. Fatima Abdelrahman is a former parliament member who has been elected in the period from (2001-2014) for four continues cycles.
Ms. Fatima Abdelrahman is elected as peace ambassador (2014) by Sudanese women union as an active member in the union, led many peace negotiations in national level. She is nominated to moderate the traditional authority’s roundtable in WUF 10, to reflect her unique experience in community-based initiatives in the areas of arbitration, managing conflict over land among other administrative responsibilities.
