Mr. Solomon Tetteh has a keen interest in community development with a particular interest in the social, economic, environmental and cultural well-being of marginalized peoples and communities. He has over ten years’ experience working with poor urban poor communities, promoting inclusive governance between state actors, local authorities, and communities.
He is skilled at developing community action plans using participatory tools and has supported local governments in Ghana to develop over 25 community development plans which have been included in the medium and long term development plans of various Metropolitan Assemblies.
Mr. Tetteh also has specialized skills in building and strengthening community structures through participatory processes and has spearheaded various community-led initiatives in slum upgrading, climate change adaptation, and creation of alternative livelihood opportunities.
