Sulayman Abdulmumuni Ujah is a deaf-sign language user and disability rights advocate who is passionate about the rights of persons with disabilities. He is a Bridge CRPD-SDGs Module 1, 2 & 3 alumni and uses the knowledge as an advocacy tool for championing full inclusion of persons with disabilities in society.
He has been a grassroots disability activist from his early school days, fighting against discrimination and maltreatment by senior school mates in a mainstream secondary school where he was one of seven deaf students. Since then he has not looked back. He has held key posts in various disability organizations and is a role model for upcoming youth with disabilities in all its ramifications.
