Better Economies for All (Short Films)

These short films share stories about making better economies for all in cities. Films include: “11th Street Bridge Park: Leading with Equity,” tells how an equitable development plan positively impacted the lives of residents; “Wetlands” explore the response of Aveiro, a city under imminent threat of ocean rise and undergoing the loss of cultural heritage and traditional industries; “The World in Ten Blocks” is an intimate journey into the kitchens and behind the counters of small businesses where cultures and traditions are preserved, shared, and evolve in Toronto’s Bloorcourt neighborhood; “Square Deal Towns” tells the economic story of rise, fall, and bouncing back again.
