This networking event will talk about feminist perspectives in the cities and the right that women have to use and enjoy the cities and for them to be deginsed with a gender perspective and meeting their need.

  • Radosław Nawojski - sociologist and activist, Jagiellonian University, Poland.

  1. Grassroots women’s activism and urban agenda (role of grassroots activists in implementing urban agenda, challenges for grassroots activism, climate change impact on local communities)

Objectives

1. Make visible the leading role of women in feminist urbanism. 

2. Recognize the work of grassroots women in diverse neighbourhoods and territories working to implement an urban agenda.

3. Discuss the women’s right to a city, including the reproductive rights and the right to safe city
