Summary

This workshop, hosted by UNDP's Urban Learning Centre (ULC) and City Experiment Fund, focuses on the topic of "CityScape 2050: GenAI-Powered Urban Futures", while leveraging advanced generative AI tools to explore urban scenarios and strategies for sustainable, inclusive, and resilient urban development. This immersive session demonstrates UNDP’s innovative approaches to capacity building, citizen participation, and knowledge exchange for urban practitioners. Participants will engage in collective thinking and discussions based on AI-generated media to formulate practical ideas and decisions for future-ready cities. The workshop aims to showcase how combining expert knowledge with AI capabilities can effectively address urban challenges and inform real-world policies and practices.
