Summary

Participants will learn to apply interactive digital tools for fast and evidence-based decision-making in the crisis-affected areas. Further, the training will explore what skills are essential for sustainable recovery, what educational formats can ensure equal access to these skills, and what cooperations are needed for the larger impact of joint actions. As It All Starts at Home, the event will shed light on strategies for developing strong local capacity that responds to global challenges

Objectives

Participants will be able to operate one of the digital tools developed by UNITAC within Just Transitions and apply it for evidence-based decision-making.

Attendees will learn to translate urban data into informed and sustainable solutions to pressuring urban challenges, especially in the crisis-affected areas.

Participants will be aware of multiple approaches for building professional capacity in architecture, urban planning, urban management, and related fields in Ukraine and beyond.
