Summary

The training provides a practical co-visioning methodology that engages multi-stakeholder groups, including policy makers, academics, planners and civil society initiatives, in the sustainable transformation of urban-rural regions towards a more circular, climate-friendly and socially inclusive future. Participants will get an insight into the methodology and go through a simulated co-visioning process led by the trainers in a multi-stakeholder workshop.

Objectives

Participants will be able to achieve the following learning outcomes
- Learn procedures, methods and tools for collaborative spatial visioning
- Apply selected interactive tools in multi-stakeholder workshops
- become familiar with strategies for a green transformation of urban-rural regions
- Gain insights into best practice co-visioning processes
- Approaches to multi-stakeholder engagement in urban-rural contexts
- Expanded expertise on the relationship between urban and rural
