IDEAtlas (https://ideatlas.eu/), an ESA-funded project, develops state-of-the-art global methodologies for detecting deprived areas (slums, informal settlements), emphasizing user engagement throughout the process. To facilitate efficient interaction with the local partners, we have designed a user-centric Portal (https://portal.ideatlas.eu) where model outputs can be visualized and feedback on both the reference data and outputs can be provided. The Portal is co-developed based on user feedback. It includes an open section for accessing gridded model outputs and a protected section designed for city user engagement to safeguard potentially sensitive data (e.g., in cities with high eviction pressure). The collected data collected are crucial for iteratively improving models, which utilize free-cost Copernicus satellite data.

As part of the exhibition, we will showcase the portal, where everyone can interact with AI mapping outputs and provide feedback.
