The exhibition content will present the OECD’s work, in the last two years through a digital and non-digital manner and provide space for interaction with a wide range of visitors. In particular, we will present and display the following research outputs that will be released at the WUF12:
• The Global State of National Urban Policy (GSNUP3) a new report which monitors the progress of national urban policy in more than 70 countries, co-authored with UN-Habitat.
• The new OECD Municipal and Local Data Platform, a new OECD tool to further support national and subnational governance in using granular data for policy-making, and
• The Webtool to measuring cities’ and regions’ distance to the SDGs.
• Africa’s Urbanisation Dynamics 2024, a new report published jointly by the OECD/SWAC, the African Development Bank, United Cities and Local Governments of Africa and Cities Alliance. The report presents new data on urban growth at the 2050 horizon and its implications for urban planning, governance and finance.
• The newly updated Africapolis database and platform, showing the latest boundaries and population of over 11 000 agglomerations with 10 000 inhabitants and above in all African countries.
• The new platform MAPTA-Climate, a new tool for tracking the sustainability and resilience of African urban agglomerations. It combines new spatial data on green spaces, pollution, street networks, and urban forms for Africapolis agglomerations.
