UN Habitat Egypt

The United Nations in Egypt will have a pavilion at the WUF, hosted in Cairo. This pavilion will play a crucial role in raising awareness of key issues and hosting side events of interest to both international and national participants. Additionally, it will promote sustainable development and the respective agendas of various UN agencies. Branded as representing the UN family in Egypt, the pavilion will include a space to host side sessions with seating arrangements to accommodate around 20 people. The agenda for these side sessions will be coordinated among the UNCT in alignment with the six WUF dialogues. The pavilion will feature a space for displaying publications, registration, and distributing promotional materials. At least two screens will be installed to showcase the work of the UN in Egypt. The design and production of the pavilion will be creative, minimalist, practical, and forward-looking. A media corner will be set up to conduct press interviews.
