La agenda del desarrollo sostenible de la Universidad de Guadalajara. El caso de la Cumbre Internacional del Habitat.

The event aims to analyze and disseminate the projects implemented by the University of Guadalajara in the field of sustainable development, especially the impact of the International Habitat Summit of Latin America and the Caribbean (CIHALC), and other wide-ranging projects such as the Museum of Environmental Sciences and the programs educational focused on the conservation of the environment and traditions. In the 21st century, the University of Guadalajara has implemented institutional policies focused on promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable development among its university community. Through its departments, research centers and institutes, the University of Guadalajara generates knowledge that, in addition to updating academic content and promoting technological transfer, contributes to the development economic and social well-being of the regions of Jalisco. The University of Guadalajara improved its indicators on sustainable development and ranks third among the 20 Mexican universities that participate in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2023 and are among the top 300 out of 1,591 institutions on a global scale. According to published data, the UdeG is above average global in 15 of the 17 SDGs.
