Urban health - Fostering healthy communities and cities locally, together, now

At the WUF12 Urban Expo, the WHO booth will highlight a broad range of WHO’s urban health resources and initiatives. It will also serve as a hub for networking and cross-sector collaborations while providing interactive learning experiences for visitors.

Let's Build a Healthier WHOville: Visitors will be invited to collaborate in building a healthier city image by drawing or placing stickers on a shared poster on the wall. This interactive activity will encourage participants to reflect on the links between health and urban systems, including risk factors and health promoters. The final collective poster will symbolize the theme "Stronger Together."

WHO Digital Interaction Zone: This area will offer hands-on engagement with WHO’s online platforms, including the Urban Health Repository, a rich resource of urban health tools and materials. Visitors can also test their knowledge with urban health quizzes on "Kahoot!"

WHO Booth Events: A series of 30-minute sessions will introduce WHO’s resources and initiatives, offering attendees the chance to meet WHO experts and partners. These interactive discussions will bring together health and urban professionals to advance urban health goals, fostering shared commitment and action among WUF12 participants.

WHO Resource Exhibition: A screen within the booth will display key WHO urban health resources and multimedia content, providing attendees with valuable insights into WHO’s work in urban health.
