Audrey Guiral-Naepels
Audrey Guiral-Naepels was appointed Head of the Urban Development, Planning, and Housing Division at the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) on July 11, 2024. She oversees AFD's efforts to create more sustainable and climate-resilient cities, improve access to funding for urban adaptation, enhance housing accessibility, conserve heritage sites, and improve solid waste management. A geographer and graduate of Sciences Po and the French Geopolitics Institute, Audrey has 20 years of experience in urban development, with a focus on urban renewal and housing. She has worked extensively across Africa, France, and French overseas territories. Before joining AFD in 2012, she worked for SNCF Group on land value capture, real estate, and social housing projects, and previously as a consultant for local governments at Egis.
