Catherine Epse Tondje

Maliedje Djla Catherine Epse Tondje was born April 21, 1985 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Her jobs during her student life and her activism for social causes quickly brought her closer to the network of CSOs called Dynamique Citoyen Littoral with which she experimented with raising awareness, monitoring public policies and advocacy and lobbying. It is in this movement that it has been retained since 2013 by the CODAS Caritas Douala. In 2018, she participated in the World Urban Forum in Malaysia and came back from there with a concept: The Salon Villes et Toits du Cameroun. The concept is shared and then included among the activities of the project to promote and protect the right to decent housing by supporting the improvement of popular neighborhoods in Douala from 2019 to 2021 for its phase one then from 2022 to 2025 for its phase two. The echo of this activity is making its way to Cameroon as itself.
