Cynthia Goytia
Professor Cynthia Goytia is a leading Latin American urban economics scholar with decades of expertise on land and housing markets, urban policies, and urban finance research and policymaking. She holds a Ph.D. from London School of Economics. As head of the Urban Economics Graduate Program at Torcuato Di Tella University and director of the Urban Policy and Housing Research Center (CIPUV) in Buenos Aires, her research contributions on land use regulation, land management, and affordable housing delivery through planning systems have influenced urban planning and financing policies across Latin America. She consults for multiple governments and international organizations, including the World Bank, UN,-Habitat, CAF, African Development Bank, and Inter-American Development Bank. Her work is widely published and translated into Chinese, reflecting her global impact on urban economics and policy.
