Maciej is a member of the PZU Życie management board responsible for the real estate area at PZU.For many years she was a Journalist managing various news outlets. In 2006, President Lech Kaczyński awarded Dorota Maciej with the Golden Cross of Merit for outstanding contributions to the development of independent journalism and free media in Poland as well as activities for democratic changes.
