Lamia Mohsin is a young development professional and researcher with a focus on key areas including climate resilience, adaptation, local governance and public policy.
She is currently working as a consultant at the Global Center on Adaptation’s South Asia regional office based in Dhaka, where she is supporting the center's role as a solutions broker for climate adaptation, in close collaboration with the Government of Bangladesh.
Previously, she has worked in a similar capacity at the Resilience and Inclusive Growth Cluster of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Bangladesh Country Office.
Lamia has recently joined as a Youth Resilience Fellow at the UN High-Level Climate Champions Team to facilitate a series of strategic non-state actor and youth engagements in the build-up to COP27.
