Matías is the founder and director of Asuntos del Sur, a think-do tank dedicated to the design and implementation of political innovations in Latin America. He leads the regional consortium CILA - Cities in Action. His areas of research and practice include democratic governance, public innovation and citizen participation. He is a political scientist with a PhD from the Institute d´Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), MSc University of Oxford and MPA Sciences Po. He has worked for the Latin American Program of the Woodrow Wilson Center, the UNDP, the Government of Argentina and the Development Center of the OECD and also led the Instituto Federal de Gobierno.
