Nathalie Röbbel is the Lead for Urban Health at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, within the Department of Social Determinants of Health. Previously, she led WHO's work on air pollution and housing in the Department of Environment, Climate Change, and Health, where she played a key role in developing the WHO Housing and Health Guidelines and advancing efforts to address slum upgrading through housing and social policies. Before joining WHO Headquarters, she worked as a technical officer at the WHO Regional Office for Europe in Bonn and Copenhagen, overseeing environmental health performance reviews and engaging in urban health projects. Nathalie holds a Ph.D. from the Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn, Germany.
