Oliver Dudfield
Ollie Dudfield oversees the implementation of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Olympism365 strategy focused on strengthening the role of sport as an important enabler of the Sustainable Development Goals. Through Olympism365 the IOC funds, supports and collaborates with a range of organisations from both within and beyond the Olympic Movement to scale the transformative potential of sport and Olympism to positively impact lives and communities.
Prior to joining the IOC, he served as Executive Director of the Sport for Development Coalition and Head of the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Sport for Development and Peace Unit. In these roles he supported sporting bodies, governments and civil society organisations to enhance the contribution of sport to sustainable development. He is the author of multiple publications on sport and social development. He started his career in basketball, working in the national systems in Australia and New Zealand.
