Driven by a passion for interdisciplinary thinking and a belief in the necessity of collaborative action in this century, Raffaela joined the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt’s RISE Cities program in 2022. In her role, she has developed and led the international leadership training, the RISE Cities Fellowship Program, and is currently focused on strategically advancing the Foundation’s initiatives to address urban challenges. Her work centers on integrated urban planning and cross-sectoral collaboration, reflecting her commitment to bridging silos and fostering communities of trust.<br>With a background in climate impact research, climate adaptation, communications, and the arts, Raffaela brings a diverse skill set to her work. She studied English and Geography in Munich and holds a master’s degree in Geography of Global Change from the University of Freiburg, specializing in urban development and planning.
