Green transformation in cities: what should the energy mix look like?

Description of the session: The objective of the debate is to present possible solutions and to continue the ongoing discussion on the role of cities in a just and green transformation, which aims to create zero-emission and people-friendly urban environment. Therefore, the speakers will focus on discussing the availability of technologies and the possibilities of their application in the area and in the neighborhood of urban areas. Among others, they will discuss the possibility of diversification of energy production, necessary legislative changes and creation of infrastructures that are beneficial to the environment and society of cities.
