Azerbaijan Urban Campaign
The AZERBAIJAN URBAN CAMPAIGN 2026 (AUC2026), led by UN-Habitat in partnership with the Government of Azerbaijan, prepares for the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, 17–22 May 2026.
It promotes inclusive, sustainable urban development, focusing on housing, land, climate adaptation, mobility, and urban services. AUC2026 engages citizens, institutions, private sector, academia, and civil society for advocacy and awareness. It fosters public participation, policy dialogue, innovation, and collaborative action. The campaign aims to inspire legacy projects aligned with Azerbaijan’s culture and urban vision.
Baku Urban Week
Baku will host “Baku Urban Week” from 11 to 17 May 2026. As the culmination of the nationwide Azerbaijan Urban Campaign, this event aims, on the eve of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), to integrate global urban planning discussions into Baku’s local urban context.
Baku Urban Week will provide a unique platform for city residents and international visitors to engage with contemporary urban planning approaches and take an active part in these discussions.
Throughout the week, events will be open to experts, academics, students, artists, city residents, and international guests.
