Two Featurettes: The Market & Wes Anderson-ish Singapore
Sunday, June 26, 2022
“The Market" follows three small businesses started by immigrant entrepreneurs at Union Market, Washington, DC; a Salvadorian pupuseria, Peruvian take-out restaurant, and Pakistani perfume shop. Starting in the fall of 2019 --and continuing for over a year-- the film captures key moments of challenge and reward.
“Wes Anderson-ish Singapore” is a documentary that takes viewers on a photographic adventure across the island of Singapore, as it documents the changes in the built environment against the backdrop of the pandemic with a "Wes Anderson" film style.
