Beyond the Kites

The short arose from the director's reflection on his childhood, where, like the film's protagonist, Danilo, he did not have as much contact with his own outskirt, which consequently distanced him from his own reality. Furthermore, the film is born from the desire to talk about ancestry, literature and leisure in the outskirts through the habit of flying kites, something that brings the protagonist closer to friendships and his own family, all of this using fantasy and playfulness to dialogue with a young audience.
