The Closing Ceremony of will celebrate the outcomes and achievements of the World Urban Forum (WUF12)
With remarks from high-level officials, including representatives from UN-Habitat and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as thought leaders and creative performances, the ceremony will spotlight the key moments and ideas that shaped WUF12.
A video presentation of WUF12’s highlights will be featured, followed by reflections from thought leaders. The event will conclude with the official handover to the hosts of WUF13, Baku Azerbaijan, marking the next steps in the global journey toward sustainable urbanization.
