Summary

At CIDEU and Hexagonal Cities, we are convinced that there is a common pattern that explains the success of innovative territories and organizations: openness, mixing, agility, experimentation, collaboration, and digitization.

After training 42 Ibero-American cities and working with them in labs and accelerators, we bring to the WUF a “delivery” version of the hexagonal innovation model in the form of a game, with the goal of sharing and socializing this systemic approach. We invite participants to look at the city from different roles and contribute various skills to solve the challenges and missions outlined by the 2030 Agenda.

Come, participate, and enjoy the gamified workshop to learn how to design hexagonal urban innovation projects, with 36 unique spots available.

Objectives

The workshop participants will learn to identify the six innovation vectors while playing different roles (entrepreneur, activist, local government, academia…) to bring diverse skills to the ecosystem. They will connect demands and challenges with the missions and goals guided by the 2030 Agenda, co-designing urban innovation projects in a fun and engaging way.
