Summary

The 'Planning and Financing Inclusive and Sustainable Neighbourhoods' event, as part of the World Urban Forum 12 (WUF12) in Cairo, is initiated and led by FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation, in partnership with esteemed partners such as The Middle East Sustainable Development Institute and Harley & Dikkinson, along with valuable experts and speakers from 2000Watts Smart Cities Association, RICS, and 15-Minutes Cities/ETI Chair.
WUF12 serves as a crucial platform for stakeholders to converge and deliberate on strategies to develop neighborhoods that are both inclusive and sustainable.
The event aims to address the pressing need for urban development that prioritizes inclusivity and sustainability in the face of rapid urbanization. Through this session, experts and practitioners representing academic and professional organizations, public and private sectors, and various regions and perspectives will share insights on innovative planning approaches, financing mechanisms, and best practices for creating neighborhoods that cater to diverse populations while minimizing environmental impact.
