The panel discussion aims to raise awareness on the pivotal role of private sector financing in local development within emerging markets (EM). It will highlight the benefits of subnational commercial financing and the role of private participation in enhancing service delivery and will touch upon the constraints that restrict this approach. By bringing together stakeholders from governments, DFIs, and companies, the panel will learn from the successful examples shared by the panelists and explore innovative business models and solutions at national and local levels.
