Learn how, when and why to use open innovation challenges to solve problems in your city! Join this training to learn what open innovation challenges are and how they can be used to foster innovation and boost your city’s sustainability.
This training will build the skills of city officials and other city leaders to foster open innovation to solve local problems, by collaborating with actors across government, the private sector, social enterprise, and city residents to create more resilient, sustainable, inclusive urban futures.
Participants will leave with an understanding of how to approach creating open innovation challenges that will deliver local solutions to complex problems, and will draft an open innovation program in their city. The participants will achieve the following learning outcomes:
