Summary

Integrating climate actions and placemaking into urban development by equipping participants with practical, game-based methodologies for addressing complex challenges. Interactive board games and tools, namely CLAP NOW and Debatable Urbs, will engage participants in debates and negotiations, promoting stakeholder interaction, cross-sectoral collaboration, and the co-creation of strategies aligned with global goals for sustainable urban development.

Objectives

•Mastering Decision-Making: The dynamic game helps participants understand how to integrate local actions into urban development plans seamlessly.
•Identifying and Prioritizing Climate Actions: Learn to prioritise actions based on budget, impact, and implementation time.
•Placemaking Skills: Learn to integrate placemaking principles into urban development for resilient, sustainable cities.
•Gaining Practical Experience: enrich skills for placemaking, and climate-proof urban development.
