This event will bring together heritage authorities, urban experts, and academic representatives to discuss how digital transformation can support the management of historic cities. The session will focus on smart heritage management, tourism flow, traffic and mobility optimization, property governance, and data-driven urban decision-making.
Using the examples of Icherisheher, Shusha, and Sheki, the event will present practical approaches to managing living historic environments where cultural heritage, tourism, residential life, and urban services intersect. The session will also include an applied component in Icherisheher, demonstrating how digital tools can support heritage preservation, visitor management, mobility control, and urban asset management in a UNESCO World Heritage context.
