This networking event will be organized by G100 Group of 100 Women Leaders, Smart and Sustainable Cities Wing. It will explore how women are reshaping housing and urban governance in a world defined by interdependence, climate risk, and accelerating urban change. The NUA, connected with SDG5 and SDG11 promotes a gender equality approach and the empowerment of women in order to secure their vital contribution and leadership to urban development, especially in post disasters contexts. Women led initiatives, organizations, frequently play a key role to protect disadvantaged groups. The discussion will examine how housing systems can better withstand climate shocks and natural disasters while remaining affordable and socially inclusive. Drawing on concrete experiences from diverse contexts, panelists will share practical approaches to strengthening housing resilience - before, during, and after crises -linking climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and everyday urban governance. Beyond dialogue, the event is designed as a platform for collaboration and action.. It will be conducted with the collaboration of European Network of Living Labs and the Asian Coalition for Housing Rights. These partnerships aim to support joint learning, policy experimentation, field-based exchange, and the development of collaborative initiatives on inclusive and resilient housing. The session will include Keynote Interventions, moderated question driven Panel Discussion, encouraging dynamic interaction among panelists, and active participation from the audience Q&A. The Panel will have live dialogue based on 3 parts: What: Key challenges, opportunities, and emerging trends How: Governance mechanisms, policies, and implementation strategies Call to Action: Concrete recommendations and next step Participants will leave with concrete insights, real life examples, and new connections to advance women led housing solutions aligned with the New Urban Agenda and the SDGs. A dedicated networking activity will follow, allowing speakers and participants to continue the exchange and explore future collaborations.
