Housing Solutions in Islands and High-Pressure Territories From Constraint to Opportunity

The main objective of this event is to showcase and discuss concrete housing solutions implemented in insular and high-pressure territories, focusing on governance tools, land management, and social innovation that can be adapted to other contexts worldwide. In addition, one of the ideas that will be discussed is the possibility of creating an Insular Housing Network, in order to generate a technical and political alliance between the participating territories (Canary Islands, Corsica, Malta, etc.) to advocate for specific housing recognition in international frameworks (like the EU or UN-Habitat).
