Mobility planning in an existing development always faces various challenges: extra costs, discussions about necessary changes and restrictions, acquisitions and etc. Transit-oriented development is a good way for synchronising difficult processes of new urban areas planning and design and providing necessary compromises when it is still possible and difficult choices are not needed yet. During the event various successful cases of transit-oriented development in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and other post-soviet countries will be discussed for exchanging the best practices and sharing the competences and solutions.
