. The GPR2C is an open, flexible, diverse network of civil society and local government organizations committed to political action and social change through the promotion, defense and fulfillment of the Right to the City at all levels.
The New Urban Agenda is undergoing a necessary process of assessment and revision by countries until july of this year. Considering the Right to the City and adequate housing as central components in this Global Agenda , it is relevant the next World Urban Forum provides a space to identify the actions and challenges , considering the climate impacts affecting housing conditions and the lives of city. Objectives ● Highlight the importance of multi-scalar and multi-actor partnerships for the implementation of the New Urban Agenda, considering the vision of the Right to the City and the right to housing to address the climate emergency and current challenges faced in cities and human settlements; ● Strengthen alliances for the implementation of the New Urban Agenda through the Right to the City and the Right to Housing to address the climate emergency in cities and human settlements; ● Identify related concrete actions and policies already being implemented by local, regional, and central governments in collaboration with organized civil society;
