Our session connects directly with the WUF13 theme by placing homelessness at the centre of the global conversation on adequate, safe and resilient housing. Lo que nadie quiere ver exposes the structural barriers faced by people living without a home, highlighting how the lack of access to adequate housing undermines safety, dignity, inclusion and community resilience. By aligning with UN‑Habitat’s strategic focus on ensuring access to adequate housing, land and basic services for all—especially for those in vulnerable situations—the session contributes evidence, visibility and a human‑centred narrative to one of the Forum’s core priorities. The screening and subsequent dialogue aim to encourage international cooperation, inspire policy action, and reinforce the urgency of addressing homelessness as an essential component of building safe, inclusive and resilient cities.
