Summary
This interactive Schoolyard session explores the fragmented state of the urban science–policy interface and asks what kind of institutional architecture is needed to better connect urban research and policymaking. Through comparative discussions on models such as the IPCC, IPBES, and HLPE-FSN, participants will reflect on how urban knowledge is produced, whose voices shape urban agendas, and what forms of assessment and governance could support more inclusive and effective urban policy beyond Agenda 2030.
