ArchCairo’s primary objective is to showcase the sustainable and innovative urban development and architectural projects spearheaded by the department’s students and faculty, which align with the core themes of sustainable urbanization, particularly in the context of the Global South and the six pillars of the EUC. With its contribution and presence in the WUF12 booth, ArchCairo aims to:
**Highlight Innovative Solutions: by displaying projects and research outcomes that tackle architectural and urban challenges in Cairo, and Egypt and similar contexts, with a focus on environment-friendly affordable solutions, smart future urban development.
**Promote Collaboration: by highlighting the department’s engagement with other academic institutions and practitioners to explore sustainable urban development solutions in national, local and international unprivileged and underdeveloped areas, with special attention to new technologies and heritage preservation strategies.
**Champion Diversity and Inclusion: by advocating for greater representation and participation of younger generations, immigrants and international students in the urban development.
