Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI)
The Urban Link is a high-impact exhibition that positions Arab Urban Development Institute as a strategic bridge between realities of 650+ Arab cities and the objectives of New Urban Agenda. Aligned with Dialogue-1, the booth moves beyond static display to present a Plan for the urban priorities including the housing crisis towards solutions facilitation. It is designed as an interactive-platform between Arab-cities and global-stakeholders, to share knowledge, challenges, and engage in dialogue, through two zones:
1. Showcasing Zone: Both digital and printed gallery of AUDI’s research, capacity-building initiatives, and policy outcomes including;
a. Key publications: Including Mudununa newsletter on affordable housing, and land management, showcasing original AUDI models for regional crisis responses.
b. Interactive digital archive: Paperless knowledge-hub featuring thematic snapshots, videos and QR-codes for eco-friendly access to online resources.
c. Futuristic lens: Previews of AUDI’s upcoming cross-regional collaborations.
2. Interaction Zone: A dynamic networking hub, designed to advance AUDI’s mission of connecting cities and stakeholders, including;
a. Live infographics: A data-driven station that visualizes visitors’ insights on urban issues, fostering engagement and knowledge generation.
b. Thematic roundtables: A dedicated zone for strategic alignment with AUDIs programs and network, to foster chats and high-level discussions that directs visitors to partnerships beyond the Forum.
Together, the Showcasing and Interaction Zones integrate knowledge sharing, collaborations, and engagements; acting as a representation of Arab urban priorities and a forward-looking lens for sustainable solutions. By incorporating interactions, participation, and visual narratives, The Urban Link makes the experience of Arab cities visible and tangible to a global audience, and visitors leave informed, connected and empowered for a contribution in development priorities.
