Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC)

UNEC will present its contribution to inclusive, safe and resilient urban futures by highlighting the role of economic education, research and partnerships in addressing today’s housing and urban development challenges. As a leading economics university in Azerbaijan, UNEC focuses on the links between housing, human capital, social wellbeing, sustainable finance, green transition, digital transformation and local economic development.

The exhibition will showcase UNEC’s academic and research capacity in economics, finance, management, public policy, sustainable development and innovation, demonstrating how universities can support evidence-based solutions for affordable, climate-resilient and socially inclusive communities. Special attention will be given to youth engagement, international cooperation, SDG-oriented education and the preparation of future professionals who can contribute to better urban governance and stronger communities.
