Aditya Kumar

Adi Kumar is a trained architect and seasoned land and housing specialist. Currently, he is a consultant and Senior Expert for UN Habitat on stakeholder engagement. Over the last two decades, Adi has worked across the globe from India on participatory disaster reconstruction, Southern Africa on housing and land rights, Lebanon on reconstruction of Palestinian refugee camps and affordable housing in the United States. Previously, Adi has been in leadership positions in many prominent civil society organisations across South Africa. His practice ranges from political & community organising, working closely with private sector, housing movements, development facilitation, housing policies and post disaster/ conflict reconstruction.
