Ana Falú
Ana Falú is an Argentinian architect and urbanist with postgraduate studies in the Netherlands, specializing in gender, housing, and urban policies. She is a renowned researcher, professor, and practitioner with global recognition, particularly in Latin America. She served as Regional Director of UN Women for the Andean Region (2002-2004) and Brazil and Southern Cone Countries (2004-2009). She is an Emeritus Professor at the National University of Córdoba, Dr. Honoris Causa at the National University of Rosario, and Honorary Professor at the National University of Tucumán. She leads the Master Course on Housing and Cities and previously directed INVIHAB. As Executive Director of CISCSA and cofounder of the Women and Habitat Network of LAC, she Commission, and Articulación Feminista Marcosur, she advocates for gender equality in urban development. Ana also chairs the Women, Gender, and Diversity group of the Global Platform for the Right to the City and is a member of AGGI at UN-Habitat
