Anar Bagirov

Anar Bagirov is the International Relations Director at the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a position he has held since 2015. With extensive experience in international sports diplomacy, he has been actively involved in cooperation with leading organizations such as the International Olympic Committee and the European Olympic Committees. He has played a key role in coordinating Azerbaijan’s participation in major multi-sport events, including the Olympic Games, European Games, and Youth Olympic Games, as well as managing high-level international relations and official communications. His work focuses on strengthening global partnerships, promoting the values of Olympism, and leveraging sport as a platform for dialogue, inclusion, and sustainable development.
