Augustin Pierre Maria

Augustin Maria is a Lead Urban Specialist at the World Bank Group, serving as Global Lead for City Infrastructure and Program Manager for the City Climate Finance Gap Fund under the Infrastructure Vice Presidency. He is responsible for advancing global knowledge and operational approaches to scale up urban upgrading and regeneration programs. Prior to his current role, he worked in regional operations, leading the preparation and implementation of urban development and infrastructure projects in South Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East and North Africa. He holds a PhD in Economics from Université Paris Dauphine and an engineering degree from École des Mines de Paris.
